Approaching his 4th year of university, Alex is hoping that he can continue his education in a health-care related professional school, such as Medicine, Dentistry or Pharmacy. He is having a very busy summer this year, working at a local drugstore as a pharmacy technician, participating in the exciting learning experience of iGEM and also holding a position as the VP Internal of a language school on the U of A campus.

Alex is the "money-guy" (aka treasurer) of the group and he is having an awesome time doing up the budget for the group. Besides from handling money, Alex also enjoys cycling, swimming, reading and listening to music.
