Teams share their accomplishments online, via the iGEM 2007 wiki and the Registry of Standard Biological Parts, and through a poster and a 20-minute presentation at the Jamboree. The judging process begins one week before the Jamboree, during which the entire community evaluates each team's contribution online to the iGEM wiki and to the Registry. The responsibility then narrows to the Official Judging Committee, which judges each team's poster and presentation during the Jamboree.

The Judging Committee is bigger and better than ever, the list of awards has been refined and perfected, and some interesting twists have been added to the competition this year: the online community judgment system and the introduction of competition tracks.  But some things are tradition: the BioBrick Trophy will be returning from Ljubljana to be presented to and engraved with this year's Grand Prize Winning Team.
