Preparation of LB

Uses

Ingredients:

For 1L:

  • 10g bacto-tryptone
  • 5g yeast extract
  • 10g NaCl
  • NaOH to adjust pH

Method:

  1. Mix Ingredients in a plastic container and add sterile water to the desired volume.
  2. Mix using a magnetic stirrer and adjust pH using NaOH until the pH is 7.5.
