Final Parts

Once the dose threshold is estabilished using the test construct, the lambda promoter with corrected cro RBS is placed upstream of readily identifiable reporter proteins for an easy to use warning system. Luciferase and mCherry expressed simultaneously would provide good signal visibility in a range of lighting conditions.

This construct is the final dosimeter construct that produces mCherry and luciferase in response to a threshold dose of radiation.
