Promoter with one so-called "Co-Repressed Operator" in the downstream shown in Figure 1 can be used as a NOR gate. But there is a dilemma when it is decided to integrate these Co-repressed NOR Gate into a actual system, because most of the components in the system require wires without interference, and these NOR gates make use of the interference between wires just the opposite.
