Promoter with one so-called "Co-Repressed Operator" in the downstream shown in Figure 1 can be used as a NOR gate. But there is a dilemma when it is decided to integrate these Co-repressed NOR Gate into a actual system, because most of the components in the system require wires without interference, and these NOR gates make use of the interference between wires just the opposite. As shown in Figure 1, promoter with a so-called "Co-Repressed Operator" in the downstream can be used as a NOR gate. However, we faced a dilemma when integrating these Co-repressed NOR Gates into an actual system. It was because that most of the components in the system require wires exempt from interference while these NOR gates just take the advantage of the interference between wires.
