Requirements

In order to participate in iGEM 2007, teams had to follow some basic requirements. These included:

  • Project documentation
    • Each team was responsible for documenting their project on the iGEM 2007 wiki. The instructions were to make sure that at the end of the summer, the project was sufficiently documented so that a judge or an interested person could see the progress that the team made over the summer and would be able to replicate their work. While the teams did not have to use the iGEM 2007 wiki as their main wiki (other options included OpenWetWare, school wikis, etc.), they did have to have all pertinent information on their team page of the iGEM 2007 wiki by the deadline. At this point (one-week before the Jamboree, on October 26 2007) the wiki was frozen and no further edits could be made.
  • Part documentation
  • Send in their parts (DNA) to the Registry
