In synthetic biology we trust...

A story within the story

Hi, my full name is Pablo Aparicio Sánchez and I was born in Valencia (Spain) in 1983. I was living in Cox (a little town in Alicante) until 7, when I returned to Valencia. I studied in a high school in Valencia. When I finished it I had to choose a degree. First I thought in Medicine, but I wasn´t sure. Then, I was thinking in Biology, but I didn´t like it (presently I like the synthetic biology very much...) Finally I chose Chemistry because I liked thermodynamics and experimental part. I'm currently studying the fifth course of Chemistry at the University of Valencia. I like the branch of Theoretical Chemistry and the Biochemistry.

Interests

A very important part of my life is basketball. I was playing in a local team for many years, but now it´s only a hobby. Another important thing for me is the music. I enjoy many differents styles, like progressive rock (with groups like: Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation, Everon, Spock´s Beard, Peter Gabriel) or modern jazz (Pat Metheny Group, Michel Camilo, Versus 5). Now I´m learning to play the piano (keyboard), but I haven´t spare time at the moment...
