This year over 650 participants are coming to the Jamboree, which will fill MIT's Stata center and many local hotels to near-capacity (3 cotemporal internal medicine conferences are competing for hotel space). Make your reservations now and be sure to pay the Jamboree registration fee before October 1! Check out maps and get the details on Visas, hotels, and getting around boston on this page.
Jamboree Fee
Each member of your team must be registered to attend the iGEM 2007 Jamboree November 3-4, 2007 at MIT, Cambridge, MA. There is a $100.00 U.S. fee for each undergraduate student team member and a $225.00 U.S. fee for each graduate student, instructor, or other attendee. Note that the information you provide about your team on the registration page is used to generate your team's badges, so be sure it is correct! The deadline for registration is October 1, 2007. Late Jamboree fees increase by $50.00 US per person.
MIT Conference Services is building the Jamboree Registration page. It will be available soon.
The 2007 Jamboree includes an optional workshop session on Sunday and Monday. A separate, complementary workshop on legal and technological standards is being organized by [http://biobricks.org/ The BioBricks Foundation] for Monday afternoon and Tuesday that is not part of the 2007 Jamboree. Please visit [http://biobricks.org/ biobricks.org] for more information and consult our detailed schedule.
