I am a junior Biology major from Nashville, TN with an interest in math and physics. I am keenly attracted to the interdisciplinary approach that synthetic biology offers and plan on entering a graduate program in that field post-graduation. I hope to one day construct biological devices that have a medical application.
In addition to academic work, I am captain of Davidson's nationally ranked Ultimate Frisbee team (http://www2.davidson.edu/studentlife/stu_orgs/frisbee/frisbee.html) and chair of the college's Activities Tax Council.
