The Projects!
We are currently working on two projects:
Division PoPper | Self Flavouring Yoghurt |
https://static.igem.org/mediawiki/2007/6/64/Edinburgh_DivisionPic.jpg | https://static.igem.org/mediawiki/2007/9/97/Edinburgh_Yogurt.jpg |
We designed a signal generator device that produces an output in the form of PoPS pulses each time a bacteria undergoes cell division. It can be useful for triggering actions as function of cell replication. | We aimed to develop flavour and colour biosynthesis pathways for potential use in 'self flavouring yoghurt' & a plasmid which would enable biobrick expression in gram positive bacteria |
