Generator: Generator cells could produce AHL signal constantly which could be sensed by special gene sequence to activate particular function. In our experiment, the production of AHL is controlled by Lux promoter and could be stimulated by the addition of IPTG and the function of Generator cells could be verified by the detector cells. Generator cells are DH5a stains of E.coli transformed with the plasmid containing part BBa_I13202 sent by MIT.
