• Final size and design checking of our T-shirt for the jamboree. Total 50 pieces.
• The hotels which iGEM provided were all booked out. The remain are all very expensive ones.
  • We are looking for a pansion-like hotel, which provides only 3 2-bed room and 4 single room. But we have 12 participants. Try asking them if there is more beds or rooms available.
• The flight tickets were booked OK.
• Many participants the our US visa smoothly. Others are on the application process.

  • Test the systems 
    • test each system individually? or test them together?
  • Test the reaction of mammalian cell to insulin:
    • Reaction peaks at 10 minutes
    • Medium for culturing E. coli does not hurt mammalian cell.
    • Previous experiments about testing the reaction of insulin use the glucose concentration of 25mM, about 400mg/dl in serum. We are looking for if there is also significant glucose change at the glucose level of around 5mM or 100mg/dl to more fit the normalized serum glucose level.
