Tito Jankowski
Tito is an unofficial iGEM Evangelist, a true believer in the idea of parts, devices, and design. He looks forward to the day when biotechnology is more design than guesswork. When he graduates from Brown in 2008, he'll receive a degree in BioMedical Engineering |

Jeff Hofmann
Jeff Hofmann is a Computational Biology concentrator in the Brown class of 2008. When he graduates, he hopes to enter the Brown MD/PhD program, and eventually study aging. Jeff is also on the Brown Men's Crew team, which is hoping for a national championship this year. |

Kyle Schutter
Kyle Schutter is stoked to be part of iGEM as a freshman, the first of many genetic engineering projects on the way to a chemical engineering degree. |

Deepa Galaiya
Deepa is a junior at Brown studying Biophysics and International Relations. She is excited to be taking part in iGEM this year and hopes to learn a lot with the Brown team. Other than iGEM she competes with Brown's Model UN team and loves to dance. |

Adam Emrich
Adam is a junior concentrating in Biomedical Engineering. He believes iGEM is the future, and he is excited to be a part of it. Other than iGEM, his interests include the bass, writing, and graduating. |

Glen Scheinberg
Glen Scheinberg is a computer scientist stuck in a biologists world. Everywhere he goes, he looks to simplify problems down into their most basic parts and solve them. He hopes that someday, genetic engineering will be as easy as programming a computer. Glen will be graduating in 2008 with a degree in computational biology. |

Norris Hung
Norris Hung is a Biology concentrator at Brown with too many fascinations to be good for him. Interested in genetics and its medical applications, he can't wait to see the limitless potential of passionate undergraduates working together this summer. Other than that, he also enjoys classical guitar, graphic design, tennis, and topics in social relations. |

Rohan Maddamsetti
Rohan wandered into an iGEM meeting one day, and decided to stick around. Rohan is interested in using insights gained by developing synthetic systems to understand how living things work and evolve, and vice versa: possible applications include a bistable toggle switch for children. Rohan is a junior concentrating in Computational Biology. |

Alex Brodsky
Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry
Dr. Brodsky joined the MCB department and the Center of Genetics and Proteomics at Brown University in 2005. He is exploring the role of alternative splicing and RNA processing in response to hormones such as estrogen and androgen in breast and prostate cancer. |

Tayhas Palmore
Biomedical Engineering
My research interests lie at the interface of biology, chemistry, materials engineering and electrical sciences, with broad interests in the areas of biomaterials, bioelectronics, and biocatalysis. Research projects in my laboratory include the synthesis of new biocomposites for use in bioelectronics (biocatalysts/conducting polymers/nanofibers); the development of new methods for modifying surfaces with functional biological molecules; and the design and fabrication of bioelectronic prototypes. |
