This was the shakey gel where I only PCRed two tubes and the chances of failure were supposedly higher than my chances of success but if u look at the gel, you will notice that since the first band was otsA and the PCR product of otsA was around 1400bp long the band correlates to the two bands that represent the 1400-1500bps long. The second band came from the otsB plate and that PCR product was supposed to be around 860bp long and that band is directly inbetween the 1000bp band and the 750bp band on the marker. This shows that colony PCR was a success despite my odds.
