Nick Glass graduated from the University of Alberta in 2007 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently persuing his masters degree in Electrical Engineering in the area of MEMS and Nanosystems. He is working specifcally on developing biosensors using the attachement of bacteriophages unto microcantilevers for real time bacteria detection. His reseach interest include most facets of nanotechnology, with much focus on nanobiotechnology.

Nick also enjoys all sorts of sports like hockey, soccer, olympic style weightlifting, football and more. He also hopes to travel the world.
