I am currently completing my third year of a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular biology, and Cell Biology. Next year I intend to undertake an Honours year, most likely in Biochemistry, but I also have a keen interest in developmental biology.
For me iGEM has been a chance to increase my competance and independence in the lab. The self-directed nature of our project has ensured that we have all gained the ability to closely analyse what we are doing and why.
Interests outside of science include:
- chocolate making
- baking
- SCUBA diving
- swing dancing
- music
