We love Mondays...

Excitement is building for tomorrow's International Food Night hosted by the Finnish beauty Maija! For those waiting for an update on Christine's sandwiches, your wait may be a long one. We fear that Christine has now succumbed to the wicked temptations of food outlets such as Greggs, Subway and the mighty Marks & Sparks. Our lunch correspondent will do their best to keep us all informed.

The tummies are a-rumbling and mouths watering in anticipation for the culinary delights from around the world (and Yorkshire) that await us this evening. Menu highlights include the Scottish summer desert Cranachan ([[User:Christinemerrick|Christine M]), nice and spicy chicken korma (Toby), superb Spanish omelette (Martina), and heartwarming irish stew (Christine H). And someone who deserves a special mention for his efforts is Scott; after several attempts he managed to conjure up a very yummy version of shortbread. To help wash down the large quantities of delicious food we all tasted and felt the effects of drinks from a variety of countries. The memory is slightly blurred from this point onwards due to the naughty naughty mojitos (Maia), the fantastic fisu (Maija) and potent polish vodka (Maciej).
