| - | iGEM, the International Genetically Engineered Machine competition, is a really cool undergraduate competition that promotes Synthetic Biology through the use of standard interchangeable parts. At the beginning of the summer we get a kit containing DNA of all the parts that the Registry of Standard Biological parts has and we use that over the summer to create more parts that make up a system of our own design. Then at the end of the summer everyone who competed gets together for the Jamboree in November. The Jamboree this year was so much fun. You can browse through all the team presentations and posters HERE. You can even watch the video of the presentations!
