We have made significant progress in modeling bacterial growth.  Using Monad's bacterial growth equation we were able to simulate bacterial growth and by using our own equations to simulate the lysogenic lytic decision of the bacteria upon infection we were able to simulate infection.  The model can be run deterministically or stochastically.  However, it was found that stochastic simulation did not add significant variability to our model and deterministic simulation was sufficient to represent the data.
