Research Interests

I have a broad range of interests in the general field of environmental biotechnology. I am currently working as a post doctorate research associate on a project to develop novel ways of enhancing the degradation of the pollutant trichloroethylene (TCE). This involves a wide range of techniques ranging from culture-dependent and culture-independent microbial ecology to field studies and chemical analyses.
