Abstract
1. Concept & ModelThe goal of our project is to make a bacterial society which is composed of two states of cells coexisting stably by following Pareto's principle as an ant society does. (See more.) 1. Coexistence ⇒ 2. Worker Removal ⇒ 3.Coexistence again 2. RequirementsBistability and cell-cell communication are necessary to realize our model of "stable coexistence". (See more.)
3. Genetic circuitThe genetic circuit in this project consisted of the new parts as well as the delivered BioBrick parts. (See more for the genetic circuit and the new parts)
