Communication: Our Aim
違う遺伝子回路を持つ2つの細胞(sender&receiver)に分ける.あらかじめお互い結合しているSenderが,周りのreceiverにシグナルを与えてstickey handsを生やす.そして合体.このシグナルにはQuorum sensingを利用する.
About Quorum Sensing
クオラムセンシングとは,バクテリアが細胞間で行う(細胞密度に依存する)シグナル伝達のシステムである(<この辺wikipediaから引用する).自然界ではバクテリア(限定したほうが良い?)は常にAHLを合成している.AHLの濃度がある値以上になる,すなわち細胞密度がある値を超えるとAHL依存性プロモータ(LuxP)のスイッチがオンになり,遺伝子が発現される.

Purpose
- 調べるthe absolute number of senders required to activate pLux.
- 調べる the difference in synthesis ability among Strains.
- 調べるwhether does it change or not when the AHL precursur, methionine, is added. Right we show the AHL synthesis pathway.
