Communication
Our Aim
Our aim is that bacterias stick around the bacterias core. We make bacteria sending a signal(sender) and bacteria receiving a signal(receiver). Senders sticking each other in advance send a signal to receivers, which grow stickey hands. In this way, bacterias stick. We use Quorum sensing as a signal.
違う遺伝子回路を持つ2つの細胞(sender&receiver)に分ける.あらかじめお互い結合しているSenderが,周りのreceiverにシグナルを与えてstickey handsを生やす.そして合体.このシグナルにはQuorum sensingを利用する.
About Quorum Sensing
Quorum Sinsing is cell-to-cell signaling action of bacteria. Detect the cell density of same species and coordinating the behavior of cells within a population. Species of Gram-Negativfe signaling information transfer molecule (autoinducer) is acyl homoserine lactone (AHL).When AHL concentration exceed threshold thus the cell population over a certain number, AHL regulated promoter is activated transcription.
Detail geneticaly circuit discribed in Fig2.
クオラムセンシングとは,バクテリアが細胞間で行うシグナル伝達のシステムである.自分と同種の菌の生息密度を感知して、それに応じて物質の産生をコントロールする.情報伝達に使用している化合物(オートインデューサー)はグラム陰性菌の場合AHLである.AHLの濃度がある値以上になる,すなわち細胞密度がある値を超えるとAHL依存性プロモータ(LuxP)のスイッチがオンになり,遺伝子が発現される.
