- Liquid Nitrogen or Dry Ice and Ethanol
Method including controls
- Add to a sterile Screw Top tube
*800ul of overnight bacterial culture
*600ul of glycerol - Mix by inversion
- Immerse in liquid nitrogen and store in -70C freezer. Alternatively, cover the tube with dry ice and pour ethanol in the dry ice. Store immediately in -70C freezer.
